Nursery, Toddler Care, and Junior Church each week!
CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Franklin Church has suspended worship services and all other programs in the building until further notice.
We are living in unusual times, but what a time for the church in America to step forward and say: "Don't panic, seek Christ and His peace." The building is not the church - the people are the church! Here are some ways you can continue to stay in touch and "be the church."
Pastor Mike will continue to deliver a weekly sermon which will be posted on the link provided below or click on "Sermons and Newsletters". A link is also provided for a children's message.

We will continue to meet together as a church for a Prayer Gathering every Sunday morning at 10:25am via conference call. Kirk McVay will lead a devotion and prayers lasting about 30 minutes. Most attendees have already been provided with a telephone number and code to join in and participate. If you would like to participate but have not received instructions and a telephone number to connect, contact the church office or email Pastor Mike at email@example.com.
Also stay connected through "In Touch," which will be a twice weekly news/devotional until we resume our regular church gatherings. Click here to find "In Touch" on our web site.
A virtual Bible Study on the book of Mark is offered on Wednesdays at 7:00pm. To join this virtual meeting live, you will need to download the "Zoom" app to your device and contact Pastor Mike at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive an access code each week.
Volunteers participating in "Franklin Cares" are making phone calls and sending cards of encouragement to attendees and shut-ins to check on their well being and to simply stay connected. Volunteers are also offering to pick-up and deliver basic grocery items to those in need. And still other volunteers are making washable face masks for essential healthcare workers.
Please remember that while we will not be meeting together in our church building, we continue to have expenses. Your tithes and offerings can be mailed to the church or sent directly from your bank.
One final note - I HIGHLY advise you NOT to watch hours and hours of the news. If you watch 5-7 hours a day of the news, who wouldn't get depressed? Trade most of that time of watching the news for reading the Good News of the Bible and you will be amazed at how much you will grow spiritually. Check out the Bible Reading Plans offered on our web site or just pick up your Bible and start reading! And remember: you never have to ask permission to do good! Call someone this week or write a note. Find joy in Jesus and "be the Church!"
